Main Learning objectives
Main Learning Objective #1: Toddler-Two Parents will be able to identify the Five Food Groups.
Main Learning Objective #2: Toddler-Two Parents will be able to define the Daily Recommended Amounts and Serving Sizes for the Five Food Groups, based on the United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) nutritional guidelines for a Two-year-old Toddler. Main Learning Objective #3: Toddler-Two Parents will be able to explain what a Nutritional Food Option, one from each of the Five Food Groups, looks like in respect to its' Daily Recommended Amount and Serving Size, for a Two-year-old Toddler. Main Learning Objective #4: Toddler-Two Parents will be able to prepare nutritional meals and/or snacks, using a selection of food items from the Five Food Groups. Main Learning Objective #5: Toddler-Two Parents will be able to analyze their child's current nutrition, in order to determine where changes should be made, so that their child's nutrition better aligns with the United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) nutritional guidelines for a Two-year-old Toddler. Main Learning Objective #6: Toddler-Two Parents will be able to create a One Day Food Plan that incorporates nutritional food options from the Five Food Groups, considers the Daily Recommended Amount and Serving Size of each nutritional food option, and aligns with the nutritional guidelines for a Two-year-old Toddler, as identified by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). |
